I really enjoyed my stay at The Ship Inn. The staff were very helpful and really friendly. The breakfast was lovely! It's in a nice, quiet location but the pub itself had a great atmosphere in the evenings. Very relaxed. Our room was clean and comfortable. Whilst there, i discovered that it's very dog friendly so i will deffinitely be going back again with the dogs in tow! Would deffinitely recommend it.
Quite narrow streets around Mousehole. There is parking close by but you're not guarenteed a space. There is however a secure car park a short walk away.
The original old world feel coupled with the relaxed atmosphere. Also it's setting ever looking the harbour. Mousehole itself is a beautiful place and has many fabulous coastal walks and places of interest to visit. The most spectacular being the Minack theatre.
The room while modern and clean was quite small. Also parking was an issue on arrival.
Possibly the first to use a refurbished bedroom that had been finished to a very high sstandard.
I would have placed the bedside lights slightly higher on the wall behind the bed. I am over 6ft tall and sitting up in bed the lights were too close to my head.
Very quite location, i stayed there for a night and very satisfy with the facility and food from nearly restaurant,
can't use card and inconvenience for card payment, the cash machine is not working
I thought the room was very pleasant and comfortable, and everything worked
slightly disappointed that breakfast was between 9 and 10
Room 3 given, had previously stayed in room 9 and requested this, but not available for the entire three nights. Room 3 was noisy in evenings until midnight when pub closed, although views over harbour were excellent. Breakfasts were good, but evening meals in the restaurant were very limited in choice, and not particularly good.
Beer was good as was the ham egg & chips eaten in the evening
No record of booking on arrival. Room offered was V. poor, seen much better student accommodation, this was "upgraded" but still poor, not in pub but in dwelling next door. This was midweek in November. Asked for alarm clock, may as well have asked for the moon. Breakfast V.poor quality, no newspapers These points were made to "management" on departure. I usually stay at The Old Success at Sennen, same group St. Austell, but totally different class. My advice is drive on a few more miles to Sennen.
I enjoyed my stay there freindly staff great location ex food.
The room was very clean, modern, well equipped. Pub was friendly and staff were great. Location is right by the harbour in Mousehole.
A bit expensive, and breakfast was later than we preferred.
Great pub attached to rooms with good atmosphere any night of the week and good food. Great location on the harbour in the gorgeous and quaint town of Mousehole. Access to local bus servcies that will take you to Penzance, Lands End, St Michaels Mount. Friendly locals - definatetly worth visiting.
Tiny room but not surprising in a place like Mousehole. Parking is somewhat difficult because of narrow streets but we found free parking up the hill. Reasoanable rates also avialbale nearby. Could be more efficient with breakfast service.
The rooms, although very small, were lovely and clean.
The breakfast was fine if you like good old fry up, however, if you are vegeterarian then bring your own. The only veggie option for cooked breakfast was more of everything like mushrooms bean and eggs and the choice of veggie burger !!!!
Great location in lovely fishing village. Good fresh local sea food. Superb views from room.
Lovely room and fantastic harbourside location.
Room rather small and puib food rather expensive, though the breakfast was excellent.
On harbour side, very friendly staff and owners. Quiet location really relaxed and chilled.
Location, friendliness staff very helpful
